District of Arizona opens entries for 2026 Ninth Circuit Civics Contest

High school students in Arizona are invited to participate in the 2026 Ninth Circuit Civics Essay and Video Contest. The District of Arizona will hold a local competition to select finalists who will advance to the larger circuit-level contest. Winners at the district level in both essay and video categories will receive $1,500 for first place, $750 for second place, and $500 for third place.

The deadline for submitting essays and videos is Friday, March 6, 2026. Students can access contest rules, instructions, judging criteria, past entries, and research materials through a link provided on the official website.
