NCR Investments, LLC emerged victorious in a legal battle against Kathleen Maxfield, who was found guilty of forcible detainer by the Arizona Court of Appeals. The court affirmed that NCR Investments had the right to immediate and exclusive possession of a property located in Chandler, Arizona. This decision followed an appeal by Maxfield, who had previously conveyed the property to her niece before leasing it back. After the property was sold to NCR Investments, Maxfield failed to maintain it according to local ordinances, leading to the termination of her lease. Despite challenging the validity of the transactions and presenting no evidence during trial, Maxfield’s appeal was denied due to lack of substantial justification.
